The customer had previously converted part of their garage into a shower room which was accessed from inside the house. This however left service pipes and wiring exposed in the garage which they wanted boxed in and a false ceiling installed. They also had an issue with the fact that their kitchen cookerhood was vented into the garage, which left a strong smell of food and was poorly installed.
The 1st step was to drill a 110mm hole through the wall for the cookerhood ducting.
The ducting was installed, a low profile box section was used due to the close proximity to the garage door.
The next step was to create the frame for the false ceiling.
This was then lined with plasterboard.
The pipework was boxed in at the back.
